Jay Qadan's Story - Founding of VizRefra

At the early age of the internet, information availability was an amazing experience, browsing the search results from Yahoo search engine then the more improved later arrival of Google changed many aspects of my life.

While I enjoyed navigating and searching for different information, I always thought that this abundance of information can be utilized better if it is offered on an analytical interface to map all results in one screen rather than scrolling over and click each page to see if results are relevant to my need. While mapping text data and quantifying it is very challenging, the emergence of machine learning technology made it less challenging.

I decided to find how to utilize algorithms to analyze the abundance of unstructured data and turn it into meaningful insights. The journey was challenging as it is so vague to develop the best method to analyze textual data, but I was motivated when realizing how a solution can help navigate data so effectively. This realization was an ongoing thought process when I used to spend long hours during my academic research project, to find particular detail in a vast amount of information.

Everyone will find textual data visualization a useful tool, from normal users who want to find particular information to the specialized Researchers, needed an analytical view of the data they want to navigate through. Mainly news and marketing media providers, research centers, forensic specialist firms, and scientific agencies will be keen to navigate through analytical insights on sourced data.

Availing this service accessed through the web on subscription bases, API connection or through an APP, will create the service required by the businesses and customers as well as benefit our start-up with income and real-time feedback on the solution development.

The user will have the option to copy and paste a text into this interface screen, or upload a text file or simply provide the URL address of the web page, they like to analyze. Once the system picks this textual data with one click, it will display a 3D map of the topics discovers, 2D map and entities found in the text. For users who like to map search engine results, they can also access another module to add the keywords they normally search on Google or Bing and will retrieve the results in the form of a map that has a link to each page discovered and its relation to other pages as well as the relevance of each page to the keywords used.

I am looking to go through this exciting journey into building a new concept of information navigation, monitoring, and unstructured analytics.
